Since the introduction of the new driving license directive in 2013, a maximum of 35 kW applies to driving license class A2. With restrictor kits from Alpha Technik almost any desired model can be brought to the required power of 35kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving license class: a factory power-to-weight ratio of 0.2kW/kg and twice the output power of the standard vehicle must not be exceeded.

A lot of know-how goes into the development of the power reduction. Essential factors have to be taken into account: legal requirements, such as exhaust, noise and power measurements according to the latest EC directive, as well as maintaining optimum drivability and homogeneous power delivery as unchanged as possible.

All necessary components and an individualized restriction certificate for entry in the vehicle documents.
