Loctite® 222 threadlocker, low strength

Used to secure and seal threaded connections, which must be easy to disassemble using normal hand tools. The product cures under tight air between tight-fitting metal surfaces and prevents self-loosening and leaks due to shocks and vibrations. Particularly suitable for adjusting set screws or small diameter screws or long threads (eg screws on maintenance holes, carburetor screws, etc.) that require easy disassembly without shearing the screw. Also well suited for use on metals that could break during disassembly (eg aluminum or brass). By virtue of its thixotropic behavior, LOCTITE® 222 reduces the migration of the liquid product after application to the component.
